The original vase, in marble, dating around the year 50 B.C. and was discovered in the San Marcos villa of of Stabiae (Italy). Nowadays it belongs to the National Archaeological Museum of Naples (Italy) with the title "Krater with Dionysian scene".

The reproduction of this object has been made with traditional methods of casting using mechanized molds which allow a faithful finish to the original work and materials resistant to atmospheric agents and to the pollution that gives to the piece the ability of being exposed to open air. Being a completely handcrafted process, the finish or the final appearance of the pieces may not be exactly the same as the one shown in the images.
