Francisco Ribera, was an engraver installed in Madrid for a time, in which he joined the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando as a student in 1793. He travelled to Paris on a pensioner to complete his training, together with Vicente Marini. He participated as an engraver in large-scale projects at the time, such as the Company's collection for the engraving of the king's paintings in Spain. In addition to portraits, his work is known about religious or devotional themes.
