The original sculpture in marble was made in the 5th century B.C. and belongs to the British Museum in London. It was discovered in Civita Lavinia, current Lanuvio (Italy) in the 19th century.

The reproduction of this object has been made with traditional methods of casting using mechanized molds which allow a faithful finish to the original work and materials resistant to atmospheric agents and to the pollution that gives to the piece the ability of being exposed to open air. Being a completely handcrafted process, the finish or the final appearance of the pieces may not be exactly the same as the one shown in the images.
