The National Chalcography has been enriching its collections, at the same time as it promotes and disseminates the art of engraving by promoting new generations of contemporary artists through the publication of their works. 

The institution continues to stimulate the practice of this important creative manifestation, maintaining an active printmaking workshop, which currently has four printing presses manufactured between the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries, and which continues to produce new editions of the highest quality, subject to strict printmaking criteria and using the best materials.
