Alfredo Alcaín is a Spanish artist. His artistic studies began at the San Fernando School of Fine Arts in Madrid, to later continue with studies in Engraving and Lithography at the National School of Graphic Arts and Cinematography in Madrid. The style of his work is very close to Pop Art, he uses a great diversity of supports and techniques that range from the poster, collage and even embroidery.

His work is present in different collections and museums such as the Fine Arts Circle in Madrid, the Contemporary Art Museum in Seville, the Museo del Grabado in Buenos Aires, the National Calcography - Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando or the Reina Sofía National Art Museum of Madrid. He was awarded the Spanish National Prize for Plastic Arts in 2003.
