Quantity

Lamberto Iranzo was a natural engraver from Madrid. There is little information about his life, but it is known that he trained at the School of Architecture and that in 1862 he presented two intaglio engravings at the National Exhibitions of Fine Arts of 1862 and 1864. His excellence as an engraver was demonstrated by being commissioned to engrave several plates of the series of Architectural Monuments of Spain, and his appointment as a Knight of the Order of Charles III at the proposal of the management committee of that engraving company.
