Original print based on the Study of the Head of the Virgin drawn in red chalk with light touches of clarion by Carlo Maratti (Camerano, 1625 – Rome, 1713), preserved in the drawing collections of the Academy Museum, one of the largest and finest in the world.
An engraving project conceived and carried out by the Printmaking Workshop of the National Chalcography, Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando, with the technical collaboration of the School of Engraving and Graphic Design of Fábrica Nacional de Moneda y Timbre - Real Casa de la Moneda.
