For logistical reasons, cast reproductions are not shipped. Only the in-store pickup option is available for purchases. If you wish to have the piece delivered to your home, you will need to hire a transportation company at your own responsibility.

The original sculpture was cut in marble at the end of the 18th century, according to a model in terracotta of Charles-Antoine Bridan (1730-1805) of 1784 exhibited at the Musée des Beaux-Arts of Chartres, which in turn is a copy of an ancient Roman sculpture of the Villa Borghese (Rome, Italy). The statue belongs to the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando.
